У цій публікації обговорюються проблеми лікування важких інтраабдомінальних інфекцій, а саме: емпірична антимікробна терапія вторинних перитонітів з огляду на сучасний стан питання в розумінні авторів, сучасних настанов та наказів МОЗ України. Місця використання добре відомого, але нового для України препарату піперацилін / тазобактаму, карбапенемів, антибіотиків резерву. Ми не розглядаємо тут кандидозний, первинний і третинний перитоніти; сподіваємось приділити цьому увагу в наступних публікаціях.
